But we also want to be real with you, this is not an easy job, only for the people who like a good challenge, and want to take yourself to the next level.
Job Description:
As a baker at Rila Bakery and Cafe, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of pastries. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Mixing, measuring, and preparing ingredients
- Operating bakery equipment
- Baking store and wholesale products
- Creating new and innovative recipes
- Ensuring that the bakery is kept clean and organized
- Need to know how to wash dishes and kitchen pans, and molds.
Requirements:
- Passion for baking and strong attention to detail
- A creative flair and the ability to develop new recipes
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- A valid Food Handler's Permit
- Experience in baking is a plus, especially with croissants, but it's not a must
